Over the past few tears all of the major telecom and broadband companies in the UK have shown substantial growth but Tiscali have been a even more aggressive, taking over the UK broadband operations of Pipex in a £210 million deal. This has meant Tiscali Broadband have forced their way into the top league of broadband service providers in the UK.

After an uncomfortable start in the UK broadband market, Tiscali Broadband is beginning to improve with rising customer satisfaction figures. While the acquisition of Pipex seemed to make commercial sense, there have been issues with the transfer of systems and the conversion of clients to the new company. Industry press covered this and customer numbers suffered.

Tiscali have now added their own expertise and experience into the operation and Pipex services and customers are all bedded into the bigger group. Their simple yet affective broadband packages have encouraged the migration of many  new clients from other companies in the same sector.
